Messages to Beslan
Dear ones, please know that we are
praying that all who are touched by these tragedies are
being prayed for and are loved. We can hear your tears
and and crying with you. Only God himself knows the
extent of lives touched. I believe that everyone can
heal, survive and outlast pain with God's help. You can
keep your faith and hope alive with Jesus help. In God's
love,
Emily and Les Dear Friends of
Beslan: We want to express our sympathy and shared grief
about the tragedy in your school--we also are in shock,
and we pray that God will comfort you in a way that only
He can do and come to you in the awful alone times when
your loss is most felt. We pray He will help you pick up
the pieces of this tragedy and find God's abundance
grace, peace and companionship as you walk through these
most difficult days. Our prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Robert and Merry To All the Dear
People of Beslan,
You are forever in my prayers. I love you dearly. May I
please share with you a vision that God showed to me as
I cried out to Him, asking Him to comfort you.
God showed me our beautiful blue and green planet Earth
with an ugly hole in it, at the area of Beslan. Then He
showed me our glorious Lord Jesus, dressed in a plain
robe of pure white, standing beside our Earth. Jesus was
very large; the palm of his hand was the size of the
Black Sea. Jesus touched Beslan, and the hole was gone.
Jesus then touched Beslan again and again with both
hands as he looked down lovingly. He used His hands to
gently repair that part of the globe. He seemed to be
carefully weaving together strips of soft modeling clay.
Jesus finished by tenderly smoothing and gently patting
Beslan.
I cannot begin to imagine the pain you feel in this
great tragedy. I pray for God to carry you. May I humbly
offer these scriptures to help your grieving hearts.
Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken hearted and binds up
their wounds.
Isaiah 40:11 He gathers the lambs in His arms and
carries them close to His heart.
1 Peter 1:3-4 In His great mercy, He has given us new
birth into a living hope, through the resurrection of
Jesus Christ from the dead, into an inheritance that can
never perish, spoil or fade -- kept in heaven for you.
In the wonderful Love of Jesus, your sister in America,
Martha Dear Children of God, On
the day in which I heard of the travisty at the school,
I wept. It is hard to believe that someone would use a
child for such an evil purpose. I prayed for those who
may not have accepted Jesus into their lives and
perished, and I prayed for those who survived the blast
and fire. I sent a prayer request out to the members of
my church to pray for all those effected. Remember that
it is in the times of dispare in which the LORD's light
shines the brightest. God bless all of you!
Glenn Our hearts ache with you and
we weep with you. Be assured that Jesus weeps also at
this evil which has befallen you and your city.
We wish that we could be there with you -- to hug you
and to hold you as your mourn. We are praying for you,
and we are asking our entire congregation at First
Baptist Church of Maywood to join us in praying for you
that you will receive comfort from the Lord Jesus
Christ, as well as the strength eventually to start
rebuilding your lives in spite of the pain you will
always bear in your hearts.
We love you from far away Illinois, U.S.A.
Betsy and Dave Dear Friends,
Our hearts ache for you here in the United States. We
are praying for you and your families. We pray that the
Lord will comfort and uplift you in one of the most
difficult times of your life. I can't begin to
understand the hurt you must be feeling, but please know
that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord
bless you.
Donna Dear people of Beslan,
I am writing to express my sorrow and prayerful support
for all of you during this crushing time. The horror of
so many children losing their lives is immense. I pray
that God may bring healing to your hearts in the future.
He is real and has great love for humankind. In Christ,
Leigh My dear Russian friends in
Beslan,
You live in a country that I love. For twenty years I
loved it before I got to visit. Now I come twice a year
to love your people. My heart breaks for all of you and
you are in my thoughts constantly. I personally know the
heartache of burying a child. I can't imagine burying
156. May God bring you peace as only He can.
Ricki To the people and children
of Beslan,
I am sorry for your loss and I pray for you. I pray that
God will wrap His gentle arms about you and give you
comfort in your time of need. Our Lord God is a good
father and He will take care of you. God knows you and
has a future for you. God will never leave you; He loves
the people who call out His name.
Jennifer We love you all and know
that the Lord does too. I love know what to say but can
only reflect this from Scripture,
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
Peace,
Amy, Larry and Libby You are in my
prayers. I grieve over your loss.
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon Me because He
has anointed Me to....comfort all who mourn." Isaiah
61:1,2.
Betty Dear Christian brothers and
sisters:
My heart has been so saddened by your loss. I have been
crying since I heard the news. I wish I could just hug
you and be a shoulder for you to cry on. I pray for all
of you, especially the families who lost children. This
is not only a tragedy to your community, but to the
world. I am sending money to help, just know that I am
praying for you and you are not alone.
In Christian Love,
Heather Dear Russian brothers and
sisters,
We have been totally shocked by the news of your
unspeakable pain. We cannot believe such evil has come
to your children and your people. Our hearts ache with
you as we continue to learn of this tragedy. We pray
that God will strengthen you for this present time and
that you will know of our hope in heaven where God will
wipe away every tear. With Love,
Dale and Elaine We have been
praying daily for you as well as our own little children
of whom 2 visit a Christian school. Tonight I shared the
tragedy of the Beslan baptist church in our prayer
meeting. We all share your grief and lifted our hearts
to the God of life. A sister of our church is currently
visiting prisons in the USSR. We got news that the days
of national mourning are opening many hearts, 600
Russian New Testaments were distributed. We will sent a
gift via Stichting Antwoord/NOMCC and I will ask special
attention coming sunday in our church. Please be sure of
our warmest affection and prayer. I greet you all with
John 10:27,28 My sheep hear my voice and I know them,
and they follow Me. And I give eternal life to them, and
they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them
out of my hand.
Wladislaw and Gratiela Your hearts
are broken. Surely God's heart is also broken over this
terrible atrocity. We weep with you.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be
comforted." We pray that God will take you into His arms
and hold you close while you mourn.
Wade & Lee Dear people of Beslan,
Please accept our deepest sympathies on your great loss.
It is incomprehensible how anyone can harm a child -
they are innocent. They should not have to suffer
negatively for the world's adult problems. Even though
all people want to see terrorism stopped, please don't
become hateful (even though you certainly have a reason
to feel that way) because then they succeed in gaining
strength. They exist on hatred and fear. Perhaps if they
had been shown love as much as you showed to your own
children, the terrorists would have grown to be
different people as adults. Please continue to teach
your children love and respect for others. Teach them to
be compassionate and caring. It is up to each mother and
each father on our planet to teach these things, or
hatred will win.
To the children who survived this ordeal: We thank God
that you are alive. What you lived through will be with
you always. You will always remember those who lost
their lives during this time. They would want you to go
on with your lives and move forward. Terrorism is an
ugly thing, but if we live our lives in great fear, then
the 'bad guys' win. Go forward with hope in your hearts
and a determination to change our world for the better.
If each young person on our planet would have this
resolve, then perhaps the world will be a better place
for YOUR children. Please remember the parents who lost
children. Take time to visit with them and hug them. One
day you will understand the incredible love that a
parent feels for a child. They grieve deeply.
Please know that in every community, our churches and
our people have prayed for you. We hurt with you. We
grieve with you. Even though we have never met, our
hearts ache with yours over this tragic loss. May you
find comfort and strength through each other and in
God's love. Sincerely,
Linda My name is Chris and I am
from the USA. I think about you each day and try to
imagine your pain. But I can't because this is beyond
any experience I have ever had. I want you to know that
I pray for your strength and that you will draw close to
the Great Comforter and that someday, you will see your
loved ones again in Glory.
Chris Our hearts are hurting with
you over the senseless act of violence that has robbed
you of your loved ones. Here in America we have also
been shocked by enemy attack on innocent people. We are
touched deeply by your grief.
We are praying that somehow God will find a way to
lessen your pain and console your broken hearts.
Pastor Joanna Loucky-Ramsey and the People of First
Baptist Church of Potsdam, New York
Dear Russian People,
How our hearts aches for you. You have lost so much. I
pray that God will reach down and comport you as He did
the American people during and after the 911 attack in
2001. I know that healing will not come immediately. We
have got to find a way to stop these acts against
innocent people...especially our children. May you feel
God's presence and some day find peace. I will continue
to pray for all of your people.
Zola May our Father in Heaven give
you strength and comfort in this tragic time, and may
you be somewhat comforted by the knowledge that brothers
and sisters in Christ around the world hurt for you and
are holding you up in prayer.
